yeah! after a few daes in e camp at old police acedamy, i finally return home yesterdae. i faster went to bathe, unpack my bags, throw those dirty clothes into the washing machine dan i went to sleep le, until this afternoon dan i wake up...
the camp start on mon, which was 29th of may. my mum fetch mi dere with joe, sm and jh. when we reach the place is like s bit 'ulu' loh, dan we went to the MPH for briefing and assigning of all our individual post... i was very sad, cuz mi and e few others was nt assign any post, hw can dey leave us out lyk tat? but aniwae, later, e few of us were given the duty of station masters... that's was hw e whole tink started...
dan, we were being brought to our bunk, it was sooo dirty and dusty loh, e matresses have yellow patches on them, every tink were so different from home, for a moment i tink i will feel homesick if i stay any longer. but, lucky for mi, i have my friends in the camp with mi, so i was feeling quite ok... we clean e bunk with a spoilt broom and laid e matresses on the floor as the girls had decided to sleep together.
after our lunch, the station masters have been assigned to their different group and discuss on hw are we going to set up our station games. we dan do a sort of try out, and the facilitators will act as e students and try out our game... e dae end lyk tat after dinner...
e next mornin, after our breakfast, all e station masters went to carry the tables and chairs to the canteen, and later around 9am, we help out with the registation of e secondary school kids from Orchird Park Secondary School... dan, while the facilitators bring e kids through their cssp training, we as station masters went to set up the game for e dae... e place which my group was given was a super 'ulu' place which was vacant for years... when we stepped inside,we smelt very strong stale air and e whole building was like a haunted house loh. but we had no choice and went in to set up e place for our game, our game required lots of tables and chairs cuz it was a senario of a building collasping and we need to set up 3 section, so we had to bring abt 40 tables and chairs from e canteen up e slope to the building.
after all those carrying and preparing, finally we finish setting up the place and after a while, the kids started cumin in their groups and try out our game. mi and my partner had each a different duty, my duty was to brief the students and hers was to bring the students to their place and start the game. after e whole afternoon, e whole tink have ended and all of us had worn out and joe, i tink she was nt use to the environment dere and she felt ill. at nite, i went to patrol with yh and dan went with e female facilitators to help collect all the students valubles from e female bunk.
e next morning, we woke up very early and went to e parade square and did morning exercise with the students... after breakfast, we went to e SMRT tinky, it was a training exercise which suppose to test our reaction during a terrorist attack, but e whole tink was so unreal tat i tink it was a kinda failed, aiyo, i felt so disappointed loh, i was kinda looking forward to it wan. haiz... when we came bach to e camp, we had less dan an hour to set up the station game for e kids, so i was kinda panic but jh and sm were lyk still fooling around which made mi felt kinda pissed but after tat, e whole tink went quite well, it was just that very hard to control the kids to nt play around with the 'wheelchairs'. dan we had a war game, which was e watetr bomb game. all e facilitators and station masters were in one group and we had to challenge with the e rest of the students in 3 different groups. i had alot of fun and my whole body was dripping wet after e whole game...
all of us went to have our dinner after tat and i started to feel unwell. i had headache and sunburn, sianz, tink i had stand under e sun for too long le bahx... so when e students were putting up e performance night, i did nt pay much attention. i finally endured my headaches till it was sleeping time, without much delay, i quickly went to bed... but nt even 1 hour or so, all of us were woken up and told tat there was an emergency and a few of e kids were missing, we went to evacuate all e students to e MPH within a short period of time, dan after patroling around e campsite and headcount, it turned out to be a false alarm... sianz, made mi had a shock, somemre i sooo tired and unwell and i was woken up by a stupid false alarm...
after around four hours of sleep, it was already e morning of e last dae of camp... we did nthing much just guide e students through carrying e tables and chairs back to their oridinary place and dan prepare to sent off e kids. after they had all left, we ate our lunch and went through a 1 hour debreifing before we were allow to be dismissed... when we were ready to leave e camp, we saw a small but poisonous snake outside e girl's toilet, we were amused by it and it started to rain heavily and all of us were stuck at e girl's bunk for abt 2 hours or so before we got out e police academy... dan i went home immediatly to replenish my sleep...
